Huntington Torah Retreat

A week of Torah, community, and  fun!

Our community is excited to host a group of visiting young Yeshiva scholars, who will join us for a week of daily Minyan, morning and evening Torah study, special activities and community events.

• Join the fun: Whether you’re young in years or young at heart, join us for hiking, boating and other fun activities as we explore all that Huntington has to offer.

Project SEED comes to YIEN

What is Project SEED?
Project SEED pairs Yeshiva students on summer break with diverse Jewish communities across the map. The community gains an infusion of Torah study, enthusiasm and Ruach (spirit), while the young scholars enjoy a pleasant getaway, gaining valuable experience and a taste of life in a different community. 

This year's SEED is officially underway and running through Sunday, August 2nd!

We are thrilled to welcome four incredible Bachurim--Yoel, Moshe, Meshulem, and AY—to our community. With their energy and passion, we have daily Minyanim and engaging learning opportunities available for everyone.

Daily Schedule

  • Tue, Wed, Fri: 7:30 AM
    
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM
    
• Morning Study:  Partner learning with the Bachurim immediately following Shacharis until 9:00 AM
  
• Breakfast Break
  
• In-Depth Talmud Study: 10:00 AM – 12:45 PM
  
• Afternoon Trips & Activities: Young men and boys are more than welcome to join! Please reach out to Rabbi Ackerman directly for details and timing.
  
• Mincha & Maariv: 7:55 PM
  
• Open Night Seder: Partner learning with the Bachurim from 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM (or later!)
